While we have been right here we visited the well-known Elephant Rocks and William Bay and sure it was all that is was cracked as a lot as be! The water had a bluish/green color to it, with massive clean boulder rocks randomly placed among the shore. While we have been right here the water was calm, the sun was shining and there were folks floating on pool mattresses which I thought was a really good idea. On Salt River Road, 300m previous the “Gateway to the Stirlings” sign, there’s a picnic and parking area on the left. The circuit stroll is 1.7km long and is fully signposted indicating the natural world to be discovered within the space. It has impressive native flora including a variety of spectacular orchids, and is greatest in Spring.
